Soaking up the west coast sun, Jennifer Lawrence was spotted venturing out in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday afternoon (June 23).
Looking summertime stylish in a peach dress with a black leather jacket and sunglasses, the 21-year-old actress and a gal pal shared a few laughs as they strolled over to the Sheraton Hotel for a bite to eat for lunch.
The outing comes as Miss Lawrence is currently readying to reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen for the filming of the second book in The Hunger Games trilogy "Catching Fire".
Due in theaters in November 2013, the upcoming work follows the events of the previous novel - as a rebellion against the oppressive Capitol has begun, and Katniss and fellow tribute Peeta Mellark are forced to return to the arena in a special edition of the Hunger Games.
