Final 'Hunger Games' Will Be In Two Parts - The Bert Show | Real ... Jul 11th 2012, 09:58 July 11, 2012 at 5:58 am | Category: EBuzz | Tags: The Hunger Games The final book in The Hunger Games trilogy will be two movies instead of one. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will be released Nov. 21, 2014, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 will be released on Nov. 20, 2015. They will follow the Nov. 22, 2012, release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the second film based on Suzanne Collins' novels about televised death matches in a dystopic future North American society. Jennifer Lawrence will continue her starring role as Katniss Everdeen. The first film, The Hunger Games, came out in March to generally good reviews and has taken in $404 million domestically and $678 million worldwide.
