Poor thing!
With the plethora of Award nominations – and a Golden Globe win – for her work in Silver Linings Playbook, this should be such an exciting, happy time for our beloved Jennifer Lawrence!
But unfortunately, it sounds as though any joy she would have been feeling has been sucked away from nasty pneumonia!
Her co-star Jacki Weaver dropped the unfortunate news when she was forced to accept the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Award on gurlfriend’s behalf yesterday!
She revealed:
“I’m going to receive this on her behalf. Poor Jen is really sick. She really is sick. She has pneumonia.”
Awww! And on top of her recent split with Nicholas Hoult?!
When it rains, it POURS!
However, we’re glad that she has enough sense to focus on getting the rest she obviously needs right now, instead of shoving herself into a gown and going to these events!
We want to see her at 100% when she walks down that Academy Award red carpet!
