4 Silver Linings Playbook (2012) $68.9M
I like the look of those numbers. both good movies, top 10 list movies. I liked Silver Linings a little better; Zero Dark Thirty felt just a little long. when we walked out my mom was like, Jessica Chastain is going to win the Oscar. I just wasn't feeling her performance as amazing. Didn't seem like she did that much. Jennifer Lawrence was good, but she didn't really get to come alive until the end. seems like a pretty weak best actress field this yr. i'm hoping Naomi Watts blows me away in The Impossible this weekend. she's like one of my least fav actresses tho, so I don't think that will happen. 9 yr olds don't win, and i hate hate hate the Amour preview. Tom Hiddleston raved about it, but his move recs have not proved trustworthy. watching rachel weitz in the deep blue sea was painful. i only stuck through that movie because of tom (and he looked adorable in it. tho i still wish he looked like loki in real life.)
