Katniss is supposed to be 16 years old in the book. Jennifer Lawrence is 20 years old. Why aren’t they talking to an actual teen?
They are also talking about going older for the function of Peeta. This is a book with teens as the major characters. Why are they casting adults? Katniss Everdeen: Jodelle Ferland. Lionsgate, do not fuck this film up.

I feel the character she played in Winter’s Bone was 17, and she carried it off nicely enough. I agree that she’s most likely too old but I don’t feel it would be the worst thing in the world.
